Chief K. L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit performed a vehicle stop at the 900 block of South Carolina Avenue.

Homicide Case On July 25, 2010 around 12:22 a.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Mexican Pool Room at 1109 Old Norlina Road in Henderson, North Carolina in reference to a person that had been shot.

On July 23, 2010 a patrol officer working his assigned zone responded to 944 E. Montgomery Street in reference to a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in progress.

On July 25, 2010 around 12:22 a.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Mexican Pool Room at 1109 Old Norlina Road in Henderson, North Carolina in reference to a person that had been shot.

On July 21, 2010 members of the Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigations Division arrested Leon Ronnell Robinson, 55, of 91 Meridian Way in Henderson, North Carolina.

Kyree Williams, 17, of 401 Spring Court in Henderson, North Carolina was apprehended by members of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, Drug/Vice Unit, and Uniform Patrol Division on July 16, 2010.

On July 13, 2010 members of the Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigations Division arrested Antonio Townes, 17, of 118 North Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

On July 10, 2010 around 2:14 a.m. officers with Henderson Police Department responded to the 200 block of Pearl Street in Henderson, North Carolina in reference to a person that was shot.

On July 7, 2010 officers with the Henderson Police Department arrested Jerome Vernon Manson of 179 Catherine Weldon Road in Henderson, North Carolina for assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a weapon into occupied property, and felony conspiracy.

On July 7, 2010, officers with the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division along with the Narcotics Unit arrested Abdil Nasser Almuwallad, 21 at AA Foodmart, 200 W. Andrews Avenue in Henderson, North Caroline for possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver a Schedule I controlled substance.

On June 22, 2010 after a investigation conducted by members of the Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, Victor Hernandez 61 Happy Valley in Franklinton, North Carolina was arrested and charged with three counts of statutory rape of a fourteen year old.

In an effort to address recent reports of shoplifting and larceny at local stores, officers of the Henderson Police Department have been increasing the number of “walk-through” patrols made in retail businesses.

On June 17, 2010 around 1:00 p.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department Patrol Division answered a call for service related to a stolen vehicle from 1817 N. Garnett Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

On June 14, 2010 around 11:00 a.m. two officers with the Power Shift Unit of the Henderson Police Department were conducting bike patrol in the area of North Garnett Street in Henderson, North Carolina when a vehicle passed emitting an odor of marijuana.

On June 14, 2010 around 10:43 a.m. two plain clothes officers with the Henderson Police Department were inside First Citizens Bank on Dabney Drive in Henderson, North Carolina.

Members of the Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person in the photograph above.

On June 8, 2010 officers with the Henderson Police Department received a call from a concerned citizen who observed three males attempt to break and enter a residence at 1932 Oxford Road Apartment P in Henderson, North Carolina.

Three additional arrests have been made in reference to the homicide of Hassan Terry on May 29, 2010 on Lone Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

Breaking & Entering & Larceny May 13, 2010 at about 2:10 a.m., officers of the Henderson Police responded to an alarm call at Interiors & Gifts Too on Garnett Street.
