2006-7 School crime and violence report released
The rate of acts of crime and violence reported per 1,000 students in North Carolina public schools decreased by 0.13 in 2006-07 while the total number of acts of crime and violence increased by 0.5 percent, according to the 2006-07 Annual Report on School Crime and Violence just presented to State Board of Education members.
HPD arrests ATM armed robbery suspect
On November 16, 2007, members of the Henderson Police Department responded to an armed robbery which occurred in the 100 block of N. Garnett Street.
