HPD warrant-serving operation nets multiple arrests
On Monday, December 20, and Tuesday, December 21, Officer D, Pittman of the criminal investigation division and Officers K. Gregory and D. Ragland of the patrol division participated in an operation geared toward serving numerous unserved warrants.
City loose leaf collection to Jan. 15, 2011
The City of Henderson’s Public Works Department staff is working diligently to remove raked leaves from the curbing as they are left for pick up. Except for inclement weather, the leaf collection crews are working six days per week to assure to collect all loose leaves by the January 15, 2011 deadline.

Man arrested for shoplifting
On December 14, 2010 members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested and charged Robert Allen O’bery, 34, of 111 S. Pinkston Street, Apartment 19 in Henderson, North Carolina.

Board of ed. called meeting Jan. 3
The Vance County Board of Education will hold a called meeting on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Administrative Services Center, 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting is to approve bids for the construction of multi-purpose rooms.
