Vance-Granville Community College continued to excel by a variety of measures during the 2009-2010 academic year, according to this year’s Critical Success Factors report, which was recently released by the N.C. Henderson Middle School administrators and faculty members will be conducting their Sixth-Grade Academy orientation sessions on Monday, August 8, and Tuesday, August 9, at the school. The adminstration of semester exams and state end-of-course tests at high schools in the Vance County Public School System begins next week. Officials with Vance County Schools and members of the Vance County Board of Education are bracing for a 2011-2012 fiscal year that is likely to include drastic cuts in funding, particularly at the state level.
