Arrests – Latrone Eugene Magbie,of 336 Foster Road lot 1, was arrested for possession of schedule VI drug (marijuana). He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $1000 secured bond.

On Friday, April 4, 2008, at approximately 2:36 a.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to the 800 block of Water Street in reference to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Arrests – Elizabeth Bullock, of 111 Grace Street, Oxford, was arrested for larceny of two shirts from Belk’s Department Store. The shirts were valued at $55. She was confined to the Vance County Jail under a $300 secured bond.

Arrests – Rachel Judkins, of 3519 Jacksontown Road, was charged with driving while license revoked, child restraint violation, and fictitious registration plate. She was issued a citation and released.

Arrests – Jammee D. Terry, of 615 Vaughan Street, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Terry shot Amitarshus Southerland in the leg. Terry was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond.

Henderson Police Chief K.L. Sidwell reported Friday that members of his department’s Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigations Division, along with assistance from the US Secret Service executed a search warrant on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the residence of 231 Southside Estates, Henderson, NC 27537.

Arrests – Quentin Yarborough, of 810 High Street, was arrested for resisting, delaying, and obstructing an officer. He was confined to the Vance County Jail under an $800 secured bond.

Arrests – Sondra Brandon, of 530 E. Andrews Avenue, was served a criminal summons for a simple assault.

Incident Reports March 22, 2008 – Larry Southerland, of Franklin Fencing, reported that someone broke into their business and stole three truck batteries ($230), miscellaneous tools, chain link fence, and conduit pipe.

Arrests – James Robinson, of 5510 Penrith Drive, Durham, was arrested at Wal-mart for larceny of $94.50 worth of various food items. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $300 secured bond.

Arrests – Jovan A. Bullock, of 606 E. Montgomery Street, was arrested for three counts of failure to appear, injury to property, and shoplifting.

On March 17, 2008 at 4:35 a.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to the Scottish Inn Motel at 1759 N Garnett Street in reference to a robbery in progress.

Arrests – Xavier Judd, of 111 S. Clark Street, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, and maintaining a vehicle used for keeping and selling a controlled substance. Judd was placed in the Vance County Jail on a $20,000 secured bond.

Arrests – Jonathan Phillip Durham, of 705 E. Andrews Avenue, was arrested for contempt of court violations. He was placed in the Vance County Jail under a $4,000 secured bond.

Arrests – Natasha Durham of 721 Berry Street was arrested on March 13, 2008 for assault with a deadly weapon (box cutter). She was placed in the Vance County Jail with a $1,000 secured bond.

Chief K.L. Sidwell of the Henderson Police Department reported that members of his department’s Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on March 7, 2008 at the residence of 1010 Standish Street.

Breaking & Entering Case On January 27, 2008, Jimmy Grissom reported that someone had broken into the White Memorial United Methodist Church at 529 Alexander Ave.

Henderson Police Chief K.L. Sidwell reported yesterday that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at 857 Lamb Street in Henderson on Friday, February 15, 2008.

Home Invasion Case On December 27, 2008, around 11:30 p.m., the Vance County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion robbery and sexual assault at a residence on Sombrero Lane in Henderson.
